A handprint quilt! I saw one in a magazine and just couldn't help but want one! My Eden did her handprints with fabric paint on an off-white block and then I bordered it with space for the name and date. I also hand stiched around the prints to make them look like mittens. Do you think they look mittens? What should I make in the upcoming months?

Brown Bag Albums
You will need:
• 3-5 brown bags of the same size
• A hole punch
• ribbon that corresponds with the theme
• scrapbooking coordinates
First, I folded the bags in half. I then put them together and punched holes along the fold. Using the ribbon, I tied the bags together. I then scrapbooked the bags just as I would regular scrapbook pages in my albums.
One hint that I learned was to flip the bags back and forth before tying them together. That means that there was a variety of ends and open sides, so that both sides of the albums were equally thick.
These albums are perfect for storing movie stubs, extra pictures, notes or journal entries inside the fold.
Didn’t it turn out nice! I think I have been hooked into making a bunch of these this Spring for mother’s day with Eden’s school.
Peace, Katie
